"Necessity is the mother of invention." I love that saying. I also love working out. In my search for the best tracking app to solve my need of keeping track of my workouts, frustration set in. Everybody wanted me to track everything EXCEPT what I wanted.
I don't care about macros. I don't care about water intake. I'm not writing down every little thing I put in my mouth, or how many ounces I weighed today versus yesterday. None of that unnecessary stuff interested me.
It's very simple. I wanted an easy, comprehensive and intuitive way to record my exercises (at home or the gym), how much I lifted, what I did on what day, and how I could keep a history of that information to prevent brain fog, frustration, and most of all, not wanting to go to the gym at all if I couldn't remember what I'd told myself I was supposed to.
I also didn't want anyone putting a workout together for me. The mechanics, amount of weight, desired look, time, and access to equipment aren't the same for everyone. How does an app know what I can handle? I wanted the freedom to do what I wanted, when I wanted, and to invent stuff on the fly if that was what my body - or the number of people crowded into the free weights section of the gym - dictated.
But it didn't exist. Anywhere. Everything I found required me to track nonsense I didn't care about, or the app made me buy a $250 scale, or they promised it was free only to turn around and charge an arm and a leg along a tiered structure. I passed on all of them.
LiTRe is for everyone who feels the same: I just want to work out. I want to lift. I want to track what I've done. I want the app to become an unobtrusive but vital partner in my workouts helping me to repeat my successes and chronicle lessons learned.
I look forward to you loving LiTRe as much as I do.

Lift. Track. Repeat

One Price Gets You Everything. Simple
LiTRe is for anybody who wants to get into the gym (home or otherwise), start a workout with ease – or copy/paste a previous session – and get to work. The ideal user wants the flexibility to name their workouts. They want to be able to use already-listed exercises or to create custom exercises that might not be in the standard list (you know…that move you invented that doesn't even have a name), and have it already in the list for next time. LiTRe is for the beginner, the intermediate, and seasoned lifter. It's for any- and everyone looking to improve their physique and keep rock solid track on their progress. LiTRe is good for everyone who wants an app that works, but doesn't get in the way.
LiTRe isn't good for someone who avoids progress and invention. Someone who loves doing things the hard way might balk at tapping to add exercises or watching examples in the Movement Library. It's not good for someone who wants their workouts pre-created for them. LiTRe is not good for someone who wants to pay a lot. It's certainly not good for anyone looking for an app that does more than they need, captures more than they want to enter, and makes it more difficult to get in a great workout.
I was tired of trying to figure out where I'd left off the last workout. Was it push or pull? What kind of squat, how much did I lift? LiTRe helped me solve all of that. It's easy and it works!

I was the guy with the tiny notebook and golf pencil. The times I forgot to put them in my gym bag were some of my worst lifts. I always have my phone with me. Which means I always have a way to record my sessions and know what I need to do every time.

I work out in my apartment clubhouse. Too many situations at a gym I'd like to avoid. LiTRe lets me workout, see a history of what I've done and lets me put together whatever movements I want to do, when I want to do them, while helping me get this body exactly where I want it!
